National, 1st October 2023: IDT Gemological Laboratories Worldwide presented the gems and jewellery sector’s most important networking evening, GJS Nite, to meet and forge relationships with experienced and enthusiastic industry leaders on 30th September 2023, at the iconic Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai. The glittering GJS Nite was organised by GlamBox Xperience & Xpositions and was supported by the All India Gem and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC) India, the apex industry body representing over 400,000 Indian jewellers and millions of stakeholders across the jewellery fraternity. Over 2,000 participants from all sectors of the jewellery industry, such as manufacturers, wholesalers, traders, and retailers; attended the industry’s most flamboyant networking event. This event, full of entertainment, was followed by a Fashion Show at the same venue, featuring trending and inspiring young models and celebrities walking the ramp showcasing their respective jewellery brands from leading Indian jewellery manufacturers. Some of the trend-setting glamorous models and celebrities, such as Soha Ali Khan, Shalini Pandey, Malvika Raaj, Saiee Manjrekar, Shazhan Padamsee, and Amyra Dastur, made the evening memorable with their style of wearing jewellery and showcasing the latest fashion trends. The unforgettable GJS Nite 2023 saw at least 30% more participants than the previous year’s event. The GJS Nite Fashion Show has also coincided with the National Jewellery Award (NJA), which boosted the morale of jewellery manufacturers ahead of the upcoming wedding and festival season. The GJS Nite was organised on the sidelines of the GJC’s four-day Diwali edition of the event – India Gem and Jewellery Show. GJS Diwali edition brings in multiple reasons for participants to showcase their sparkling jewellery pieces with innovative designs with dazzling hues of diamond and colour gemstones, serving all classes of people and fulfilling jewellers’ quests for trend-setting jewellery pieces for retailers, wholesalers, and consumers.
